Tour Itinerary

Day 1 – Meet the Group

The festive tour departs at Ashford International Station in Kent where you will get to meet your fellow travellers. After meeting the group, we make our way to Aachen, Germany for the first night, only a 3 hour driver from the Eurotunnel terminal at Calais. This will give you plenty of time to get to know one another as we travel through France and Belgium as a team. We even get a little glimpse of Plopsaland De Panne as we drive through.

Day 2 – Phantasialand

A bucket list destination for all theme park enthusiasts and even more special during the Winteraum event when catching a night ride on Taron, Black Mamba and F.L.Y. Phantasialand is a fan favourite with world class coasters and an exceptional attention to detail. In the evening we drive down to southern Germany to stay at the Holiday Inn Express Ringsheim, only 5 minutes from Europa Park.

Day 3 – Europa Park

The Golden Ticket winning best theme park in the world is our next stop for 2 days as we experience the excellent Christmas season with the whole park decorated for the event. Set with thousands of Christmas trees, traditional market stalls, lights and night rides, Europa Park in the winter is a must visit location for all theme park fans. In the evening, we head to either the water park Rulantica which is open until 10pm or back to the Holiday Inn Express to chill for another night.

Day 4 – Europa Park

With so much to see and do at Europa Park, a second day is a must as we continue to explore the huge park in the winter season. With more nights rides, shows and festive spirit, our second day will make sure our visit to the world’s best theme park is complete.

The night will see us travel back north towards Phantasialand.

Day 5 – Phantasialand

The one thing everyone says after leaving Phantasialand for the first time is, I want to go back! Here is your chance as we use Phantasialand as a stop off while we travel towards the Netherlands for more laps on the impressive top 3 with Taron, F.L.Y and Black Mamba including another round of night rides.

The evening’s journey will take us to S-Hertogenbosch for 2 nights.

Day 6 – Efteling

A world of wonders awaits as we visit Winter Efteling for the first of two days at the Netherlands number one tourist attraction. A huge park with lots to see and do including the heavily themed B&M Dive coaster, Baron 1898 and the world class indoor dark ride Symbolica.

We end the day watching the fantastic water show at the front entrance before continuing back to the same hotel for the evening in S-Hertogenbosch, only a short 25 minutes away.

Day 7 – Efteling

Back to Efteling for more rides and attractions as we spend our second day visiting all that we missed on the first and include some re-rides on some of the other top coasters.

Other amazing attractions includes the world’s largest swinging ship and the new for 2020 Max & Moritz duelling family powered coaster.

In the evening we will cross the border as we adventure into Belgium for our final night.

Day 8 – Plopsaland De Panne

The best new coaster in Europe, The Ride to Happiness will get lapped as we spend our final day of the tour at Plopsaland De Panne. A great small park with plenty of time to visit the attractions before we head to the Eurotunnel for our return home.

Other top attractions also include the Gerstlauer Launch Coaster, Anubis: The Ride, and the thrilling GCI Wooden Coaster Heidi the Ride.

We arrive at Ashford International at approximately 18:00 on the final day and a second drop off at Gatwick Airport soon after 19:00 where we will go our separate ways.
