Walygator Grand Est
Maizières-lès-Metz, France
Located in northern France, Walygator Grand Est is a long-standing amusement park that has evolved through several owners and transformations over the years. Now operated by Aspro Parks who previously operated Oakwood in Wales, Walygator Grand Est continues to offer a mix of attractions along with what we think, may be one of our favourite mascots, Waly!
Walygator Grand Est Roller Coasters
Walygator Grand Est features four roller coasters, with the standout being Monster, a Bolliger & Mabillard inverted coaster. A clone of Raptor from Cedar Point, Monster was relocated from Japan and rebuilt with earthquake-resistant supports, and unlike its American twin, it runs without a mid-course brake, making the second half noticeably more intense. The park’s supporting line-up includes Comet, a classic Vekoma looping coaster and Anaconda, a rare wooden coaster from D.H. Morgan.
