Coaster Breaks 2027!

Here's everything you need to know about what's changing at Coaster Breaks in 2027!

Every year, Coaster Breaks continues to grow, improve and offer even more incredible experiences, and 2027 continues this trend! We're always looking at our tours, listening to feedback and finding ways to make each experience even better. Whether that's adding new theme parks, improving itineraries, reducing travel time or simply giving everyone more opportunities to enjoy their favourite rides, we're constantly working to make our tours the best they can be.

Scandinavia & Germany

In 2026, we decided to trial the addition of Legoland Billund, and it proved to be a fantastic success! The decision was originally made to create a slightly more relaxed day in the middle of the tour while also reducing the amount of driving between Hansa Park and Djurs Sommerland. It worked brilliantly, so we're keeping Legoland Billund for 2027. However, we're making the day even better by adding another park to the itinerary!

Welcome to Tivoli Friheden!

This small but charming Danish amusement park is a fantastic addition to the tour, with its standout attraction being Vindfald, a Gerstlauer Euro-Fighter. One of the biggest advantages of Tivoli Friheden is its late opening hours, giving us the opportunity to continue riding and soaking in the atmosphere until 10pm!

We really enjoyed visiting this park ourselves, and we think it makes a brilliant little bonus to an already fantastic day. Plus, for those counting coaster credits, that's another four potential additions!

Unfortunately, with the addition of Tivoli Friheden, we'll also be saying goodbye to Drievliet. We've had some fantastic visits to this charming Dutch park over the years, and it will certainly be a shame to see it leave the itinerary. However, we're always looking for ways to improve our tours, and this change allows us to give more time to Slagharen.

Previously, Slagharen was only included on our England to Sweden itinerary, often as a relatively short visit. For 2027, both directions of the tour will include Slagharen, with more time available to explore the park and enjoy its attractions.

For guests travelling from Sweden back to England, we'll also be introducing an overnight ferry crossing, allowing everyone to relax in their own cabin as we make our way back to the UK. These improvements have made both directions of the tour equal and now the only decision to make, is what direction you want to travel, England to Sweden or Sweden to England?

And to Drievliet, thank you for all the memories! We hope we'll get the chance to visit again in the future.

France & Germany

One of our original and most popular tours is receiving its biggest change in years! For 2027, our France & Germany tour will be officially starting in Ashford, with the journey now finishing in Paris, rather than travelling from Frankfurt to Ashford. The route we take will be largely similar, but this change brings some fantastic benefits, including the opportunity to visit another brilliant theme park!

Welcome to Bobbejaanland!

Anyone who has travelled with us before will know that we love adding in an extra theme park whenever we can! In previous years, we've offered guests a free lift to the starting destination of our France & Germany tour. Naturally, being coaster enthusiasts ourselves, we've always used the journey as an excuse to visit somewhere different along the way! Over the years, these bonus stops have included Eifelpark, Taunus Wunderland, Bellewaerde, Bobbejaanland, Klotten and sometimes just a quick stop for a single kids credit!

However, not everyone can join us for these additional visits, particularly those who have already arranged their own flights or travel plans. That means some guests might enjoy an entire extra theme park, while others miss out completely. For 2027, instead of leaving these bonus visits to chance, we're officially adding Bobbejaanland to the France & Germany itinerary!

We've been visiting this fantastic Belgian park ourselves since 2022, and we're delighted that everyone on the tour will now have the opportunity to experience it. It's another great addition that helps us make sure every guest gets the same fantastic experience, regardless of where they're travelling from.

Previously, our France & Germany tours have finished in Ashford, but Paris offers far greater flexibility for guests making their onward journeys. With excellent flight and train connections, it's an ideal place to finish, particularly for our international guests. It also means that after a late night enjoying Parc Astérix, there's no longer the rush to wake up in the morning, meaning when everyone is ready, they can carry on with their travels.

Of course, this does mean we'll be saying goodbye to Parc Saint Paul on this itinerary. We've enjoyed some brilliant visits over the years as a stop off on the way back home, but we believe these changes will make the overall tour even better.

Japan & China

Our Asian adventures are continuing to grow, and 2027 will be a particularly exciting year! Following the success and popularity of the test runs in Japan, we're delighted to confirm that we'll be running two Japan tours in 2027! We're also excited to welcome Kevin to the Coaster Breaks team! Kevin will be specialising in our Asian adventures and will be taking his first group around Japan in October 2027.

Please note that places remain extremely limited. As always, existing Coaster Breaks guests will be given priority access to new tours before they're released to the general public.

With some of the world's most incredible theme parks and amazing cultural experiences, Japan continues to be one of our most exciting destinations!

Shanghai 2027

2027 will also mark another milestone as we prepare to run our first group tour in China! Gabby and I have visited China multiple times, exploring some of the country's incredible theme parks, now we can't wait to share those experiences with you! China is home to some of the worlds best roller coasters, and I'm particularly looking forward to seeing everyone's reactions on Dinoconda and Beyond the Clouds, both of which are currently in my top 10!

Our first China group tour will be a trial run as we continue developing our Asian programme, and we're really excited to see how these shape up in the future!

USA Tours

Currently, our USA tours are exclusively only available to our Coaster Breaks members, but as the company continues to grow, we're looking forward to opening these incredible experiences to even more people in the future.

For 2027, we'll be running three different American adventures, including our first group trip to Texas!

Texas & Missouri

Texas will be our third American tour and for 2027 will include some incredible parks such as Six Flags Fiesta Texas, Six Flags Over Texas, SeaWorld San Antonio, COTALAND and two days at one of my favourite parks in the USA, Silver Dollar City, this is shaping up to be an incredible line up of parks we cannot wait to return to.

East Coast USA

Following the closure of Fun Spot Atlanta, we're adjusting the itinerary to include Lake Compounce. We've visited Lake Compounce many times in the past for a quick stop to ride the out of control terrain wooden roller coaster: Boulder Dash! However, for 2027, we're looking forward to spending more time at the park, with lot’s of re-rides and giving our groups the opportunity to explore everything else it has to offer.

Central USA

Our Central USA tour is receiving several changes with the biggest being the move of Silver Dollar City to our new Texas trip, where it will become one of the standout destinations of that tour. In its place, we'll be adding Michigan's Adventure with the excellent wooden coaster Shivering Timbers as the final park of our Central USA itinerary! With Michigan's Adventure joining the Enchanted Parks group alongside parks including the former Six Flags St. Louis, now Mid-America Adventure, Valleyfair and Worlds of Fun, we're looking to take advantage of season pass options that could help reduce costs for our guests.

Another addition to the Central USA itinerary is Columbus Zoo and Aquarium, home to two roller coasters including another classic wooden! This change is designed to improve the journey between Kings Island and Cedar Point, which is a very long trip, especially after a full day at Kings Island! Anyone who has experienced Kings Island at night will know just how incredible the night rides are, particularly on the legendary Beast which is our priority on our day one visit. By adjusting our itinerary, we can make the most of our second day at Kings Island, enjoying even more night rides before making a more relaxed journey towards Sandusky the following day with a stop off in Columbus Zoo. We'll then aim to arrive at Cedar Point with enough time to squeeze in a few bonus rides that evening, before enjoying two full days at the Roller Coaster Capital of the World!

France & Italy

Our France & Italy tour has already proved to be a fantastic success, with plenty of interest from guests eager to explore this exciting itinerary. From Walibi Rhone Alpes to Gardaland and Mirabilandia, we will continue to test this tour with changes in 2027 and in 2028 we will bring a lot more departures for more opportunities to visit these parks. In 2027, we will be starting this tour at Bellewearde, before we head back into France and towards Italy via the Alps!

UAE & Saudi Arabia

Unfortunately, we've made the difficult decision to temporarily put our UAE and Saudi Arabia tours on hold for 2027. We've had some incredible experiences exploring the theme parks in both countries in 2026, and they're destinations we're very passionate about sharing with our guests. However, we've decided that it's best to wait until circumstances become more stable before organising further group tours. We wish both countries all the very best and sincerely hope to return with Coaster Breaks groups in 2028.

Staff Changes

As Coaster Breaks continues to grow, there are also some changes happening behind the scenes. After being part of the Coaster Breaks team, Dan has made the decision to step back from guiding to concentrate on his family. Dan has been a fantastic part of our adventures and will be greatly missed by both the team and the guests who have travelled with him. We'd like to say a huge thank you to Dan for everything he's contributed to Coaster Breaks and wish him the very best for the future!

Welcome to the Team, David! 🎢

While we're sad to see Dan step back, we're also delighted to welcome David Hall as our newest Coaster Breaks guide! David originally joined us as a guest, and after experiencing one of our tours, he knew he wanted to become part of the team. With previous experience in the travel industry, an incredibly friendly personality and a genuine passion for theme parks, we believe David will be a fantastic addition to Coaster Breaks. In 2027, David will be welcoming guests on our Benelux & Germany and France & Germany tours. We're really looking forward to seeing David take his first groups on the road and helping create even more unforgettable memories!

Here's to an Incredible 2027!

With new parks, improved itineraries, more tour dates, exciting destinations and new faces joining the team, 2027 is shaping up to be another fantastic year for Coaster Breaks! We're incredibly proud of how far we've come, and none of this would be possible without the amazing support of our guests. Whether you've joined us on tour or are still waiting to book your first trip, we can't thank you enough for being part of the Coaster Breaks community.

We're always looking for ways to improve, and every change we make is about creating the best possible experiences for everyone who travels with us.

Our remaining 2027 tour dates will be announced very soon, with bookings opening shortly afterwards and we can't wait to welcome you on an incredible adventure visiting the worlds best parks and riding the worlds best roller coasters!

See you in 2027!
